Miss having it my way

Had always overlooked my Sims 3 pc game.

So I've installed it last week and started playing them even since..

Sudden urge to read. Read the stories I once used to love.

Series of Alice stories by Phyllis Renolds Naylor...
Series of Stephanie Plum by Janet Evanovich....

Love them both to bits...

Took some time on last Monday to get some books from BPP library..

I'm mugging now...

And had the sudden urge to blog...
So I'm blogging now..

I think I'm loving the personal time I'm having now..
Don't get me wrong. I do love being with him. But I cherish the personal time I'm having as well.

2 yrs...hm...I think i can live with it...

Hopes his ankle got better.

Sentosa Tomorrow~

Roof Top Garden Suite here I come!

Hope we don't quarrel again.

Tiff that gone from Bad to Weird

It's suppose to be a tiff.

But it got seriously bad.
Hate him.
Hate his ego. Die also wants to win the quarrel.
Hate it when he's mad. Cause I don't know what he'll do next.
Hate it when I'm not appreciated. It makes me feel like an idiot. Since all my efforts have gone down the toilet bowl.
Hate it when he judge me in the negative way. No one is perfect.
Hate it when he said hurtful things. He might have said it in a spite of anger but it still hurts a lot.
Hate it when he judges himself differently. Why can he do things that I'm not suppose to?
Hate it when all he sees is himself. Quarreling makes me realise how much one loves himself more than others.
Hate it when he finds 101 ways of blaming me with something. This is not a debate session. There's no trophy.

And it all ended with a simple apology. Hai...It's weird.

Some photos of the stickers he got me even though we've yet reconcile. Only after we got better, did he mention the stickers.

I have to admit I like it pretty much. =P

Timbre Photos

Timbre @ The Arts House

As I've promised. But the resolution is a little small. Please bare with it since I downloaded it from Snapfish and did not get it directly from my friend.

His Commencement

To me, going up on stage as everyone watches you, marks the end of University and the beginning of the working society. As all(most) of the people who learnt programming before, we start of with the most basic "Hello World!" tutorial.

Last Monday night, I witness him going up the stage with 800 pairs of eyes focus at him while he collected his certificate. Proud of him, as he's finally a full-fledged graduate! I really feel happy for him. This feeling is subtle yet real.

I want to celebrate for him. Every time I think about it, it reminds me that there's so much more I could have done for him on that day itself. If only I had....make it more memorable for him....take photos but I don't have a camera....make him happier but don't know how....make his weary eyes go away.

The only thing I did right is to get him a bouquet of Ferror Roche. And yet, the person who sell it to me did not do a good job.

I think I fail terribly as a girlfriend....on that day.

Going Wireless

My new found love! A wireless mouse.

I've always wanted one but am never willing to spend more than 50 dollars on one. It just so happen that my colleague found this promotion. 40 bucks for this baby. Nice in black and cheap even though it's branded. Hm, I wouldn't say it's branded but at least all of us know Logitech.

Mrs Kao

Last Night....

Him: When do you want to be Mrs Kao?

Me: I don't want to be Mrs Kao!

Him: Why?

Me: Mrs Kao doesn't sound nice at all! Haha..

Him: -_-"

Timbre!!!

For the love of good music, pizza and chicken wings, go to TIMBRE!

Haha...Had a wonderful and filling dinner this Saturday. Their chicken wings are hot and tasty. The super thin crust pizza is special and big. Their beverages are placed in glasses of different shapes and sizes. Super kawaii~

The band was exceptionally good as well. They sang lots of beautiful songs. I love all the songs they sang on stage. Dedications were be made for Jac dear.

All of us dressed up for that day. We all look amazing. The ambience at night made this experience unforgettable. I hope they enjoyed as much as I do.

Two things to note, MUST make reservation and prepared to sweat. Althought all of us sweat a hell lot, I feel it's worth while (once in a while please).

Photos will be uploaded once I get it for my gals. =)

Moving that Ass of Mine

I'm feeling fitter! Haha...

Ok, I know I've only been to one Aerobics Dance class. But I really feels that my arms, tummy and thighs are going to ache tomorrow. This is a good thing since it means that I'm toning up my body. Which means, I'm fitter or going to be fitter. Yeah~ Lol..

I find Aerobics Dance is the one where you can really workout and still have fun as you move. The teacher is super cute and funny too. She'll try to joke with us as we move. This makes the lesson all the more enjoyable and relaxing. I don't need to focus too much on the moves since the moves are pretty basics and easy to catch up with.

However, I will choose Dance classes over it since I enjoys more while I dance. I'm still freaking lousy at my dance and I don't think that will change much over the time. That is because I never really have talent in catching rhythms and beats which I believe it's very important in any dance. But I know that being lousy at something is not a reason for me to give up. In fact, it's a reason for me to work at it and improve on it.

I have to believe and enjoy the process. I want the change and I will change.

Men are so Selfish!

A heated conversation between him and me.

Him: Everyone keep on staring at us. Is it so wrong to have dinner between a doctor and a nurse? She's just a friend.

Me: If you don't want people to stare at you then don't eat alone with her. Get someone else to accompany the two of you.

Him: But there's none.

Me: It's normal that people will stare. What if I'm eating dinner with another guy? Will you stared or feel uncomfortable? Hm...Since you can eat alone with another girl, does that means I get to eat dinner alone with another guy too?

Him: No. Cannot.

Me: Why not?

Him: That is because the guy have ulterior motive by asking you out for dinner alone.

Me: Ok. So what if I'm the one who asked him out for dinner?

Him: Well, if you find that it's appropriate to ask a guy out for dinner alone yet feels that I wouldn't be hurt. Then by all means do so.

Me: That's so unfair! You can go eat dinner alone with another girl and I can't.

After a short silent moment.....

Him: Alright la. You can go out alone with another guy for dinner!

This conclusion is not what I've thought of. I never think that he'll agree to it. Does this means that there will be a next time for him to be eating alone with another female friend of his?

I've Done It!

3 Cheers for me! Hip Hip Horray~

Haha, I've sign up for Aerobics Dance Classes with Jac dear. It'll be my first lesson this coming Thursday. Can't wait for it to arrive. I wonder how different it'll be from normal aerobics/dance class. Hm...

Anyways, I'm all perk up to move my huge ass.

Too bad I still can't find any one to accompany me to join dance classes with me. =~(
I'm considering to go alone! But being ALONE is so scary and sian. Hai...I don't know man. I really hope some one will pop out of no where and tell me she's interested. Haha..That's kind of impossible.

Jurong Birdy Park!

Went JBP with June and Yi Xuan and their boyfriends. Of course, Yang was there with me as well.

We're suppose to meet at 9 am at the entrance of JBP. Since a lot of the shows begins in the morning like 10am and 11am. Furthermore, Bongo have it's Early Bird Breakfast Show from 9.15 to 9.45am. So that's how we decided on meeting there at 9am. As anyone would have expected, we're so darn late then we only managed to finish our breakfast at 10.15am. Haha..

Moreover, we chose to purchase it's egg-cellent saver package.
Egg-cellent saver package includes:
-Entrance (Cost $18 bucks on it's own.)
-Panorail (Can sit on the panorail for 3 times only)
-Lory Feeding (Anytime of the day)
-Waterfall Aviary Feeding (10.30am or 2.30pm)
@ $25 per adult.

So, we ended up not being able to catch the Waterfall Aviary Feeding in the morning and Birds of the Prey Show(10am). But we did manage to watch the Birds and Buddies Show. Haha, so i guess that kind of compensated for the Birds of Prey Show. The Birds and Buddies Show really brings back fond memories. I get the 'hey, I've seen this when i was young.' feeling a lot.

Lory Feeding was exceptionally enjoyable to me as well. I love the feeling of being close to nature and animals. Ok, not all animals. But it's really fun to be close to the colourful Lories. And we took a lot of photos there as well.

We managed to look at the Penguins, O'rielly Owls (Oh, really? Haha), Lory, Eagles, Ostriches and some other birds before we call it a day too. The baby penguins are darn cute. The white owls are darn pretty. The Birds of Paradise cannot be found in that huge forested cage. The Ostriches are being laughed at by us for having such a funny looking face. the Emus are too stinky to be admired. Overall, it's great to stay out at the JBP once in awhile.

If time permits, I really want to catch the Waterfall Aviary Feeding in the afternoon and the rest of the birds. Too bad for us, as we are no longer as fit as we used to be and Singapore weather doesn't permit anyone to be out in the Sun for too long.

Maybe some other days, when I'm feeling rich. Lol.

Exercise Exercise!

Alamak! I'm getting fat. I don't want to be specific so don't ask. I wouldn't tell you anyway. Haha.

Yeah..."I need to exercise. I will exercise. I must exercise. " These are the phrases I've been chanting these few days. And the only thing, I can think of, to make myself move my huge ass, is to make it totally not worth it for me to sit on my chair and watch anime/drama whole day. This means money is definitely involved. Why? Obviously right? I'm cheapskate like any of my friends out there. Haha..( No offense but quite true right? )

So the conclusion is to join some dance classes or aerobics class! I'm considering what to join now. I'm open to suggestions. Hahaa.. So don't freak out when you see me pretty and fit the next time we're out. =)

2 Weeks of Working

Wah~ Time flies when you are doing something. Seriously man. In the blink of an eye, I've been working for 2 weeks liao. It doesn't even feel like it. I guess that's a good sign. I'm not bored about my job and I actually fine everyday's work pretty interesting.

At the beginning, I was kind of afraid. Afraid that I don't like my job. Afraid that I can't get a long well with my colleagues. The usual first-time jitters. I guess I still surprise a lot of people as to why do I want to work as a software development engineer. I'm a EEE graduate who's interested in Computer Engineering work. How weird is that? I don't really know how to answer that actually. I just feel that they are not so different. In EEE, I do programming. So maybe we aren't that different and I'm really interested in software work. And you can't run away with programming if you want to work with the software of a product.

Of course, I do admit the level of knowledge and skills in programming is the biggest gap between EEE and CE. But, I'm willing to learn. With adequate guidance, I believe I can help in a small way or another in their programming. I wish to contribute and be recognized. But...I guess I still have a long way to go before I can achieved my goals.

All in all, working life isn't as bad as I thought and I actually like my job. =) So hopefully, my friends out there who are working or job-hunting can find a job they like and enjoys everyday.

GUYS: Working ain't that bad. Look on the bright side. I'm looking at it.

PS: If I have the chance I'll like to show you guys some photos or video of Singapore Flyer and Merlion. My bus to work passes by Nicoll Highway everyday. I can see Singapore River, Singapore Flyer and Merlion everyday. Absolutely amazing view. Ah...I going to miss it once my company moves away... =S

Dinner with Chris, Krystina and her beau

Had dinner with my University friends before all of us start work. Haha.. Enjoyable meal with depressing outcome. I found out that I was the most lowly paid and having least benefits among all four of them. Zzz..But I have to admit that all of them are move clever than me so I guess it's only right for them to find higher paying jobs.

Well.. First day of working is coming real soon. Gotta be brave and throw away all the negative thoughts. I'm blessed to have found a job and blessed that the company seems to have lots of nice and friendly people around. Hopefully, the positive image I have of the company is not just an image but the fact.

Ending off with a picture showing all the goodies I got from Chris from his trip to Hong Kong! Wee~

Keroro Sweets and Cookies from Hong Kong's Disneyland!

Got 'formal' clothes for work--Can't decide =S

I seriously have a dilemma in clothes for work. I don't know what to wear to work. Everytime I look at a top, I can't differentiate whether it is suitable to wear it to work. I'm weird or what? I don't know. I guess I'm just weird. Lol

It's kind of like a problem to me. Not a big one but an urgent one. I don't want to start work and start panicking for not having enough clothes to wear to work. I don't want to wear 5 repetitive sets of working clothes to work every week. I don't want to dress up like an auntie to work. I don't want to be too flashy or dress too little to work either. The so many "don't wants" in my life is giving me a huge headache when I'm choosing working clothes.

Since the company that I'm heading to has a lot of guys, it's tough to identify what is proper and what's not in the company. So, observing how other colleagues dress might not be that practical too.

Sign..Everything's giving me problem. Even clothes! So sad.

To end it off, I would like to show you guys two tops I bought from Double Index. Note: Only Positive comments will be accepted. Hoho..

Blue! Nice fashionable color

Yang said this looks ugly. But it looks nice when I'm wearing it.

Will upload pics of me wearing them if I have the chance and remember to take a snap at it.

I found a Job~

I'm blessed. Seriously blessed in a way or another. I've managed to find a job from one of the companies that came to NTU's campus interviews. Since it was a small-medium size company, I seriously don't expect them to hire me neither do i expect them to hired me who have no knowledge on C++.

Yup! C++ programming language. I know. Lots of friends are giving me the 'Ew~' looks once they noticed that I'm suppose to do lots of programming in my job. It's not that bad. Frankly speaking I kind of like programming. I don't know if I love programming but I know I don't mind doing programming for now. So here I am anticipating to becoming a Software development engineer on 1st July 2008.

Guess I'll update you guys more about it once I start work. Good luck for me.

I'm a Graduate!

Finally! After 4 long years of study, I'm a graduate and I've gotten a 2nd Class Honors in the Upper Division. Yeppi~ So happy.

But still...I've only manage to score a B+ for my FYP. Everyone around me is getting an A or A-. Hai.. Furthermore, I've done a lot in my FYP. Somethings just doesn't tallies . Being hardworking and trying your best sometimes just ain't enough. There might be a little bit of luck and other factors needed.

It'll be a black mark in my memories and no matter how much I forget about it, I can't. I can't stop getting a little bit depress when thinking about it as well.

Shaggy is here

Yes! I'm Shaggy these few days. I've been going to back to NTU for their campus interviews. It's extremely tiring! Just feel like lying around at home after 2 consecutive. Hai. Completed my 3rd day of campus interview. Yearning to finish off tomorrow's interview with Singtel. Tomorrow will be the last day of campus interview and I'll be a free person again.

Come to think of it, maybe too free is not good as well. Since some of my friends had started searching jobs online!! Have to work hard in finding a job too! Gambatte ne Wahwah~

Argh..results releasing at midnight. Horror. Hopefully i do well this semester. I wouldn't want to 'da bao' for my last semester in Uni. *Touch all the wood/paper I see*
